The above commit adds an MIT licensed file. While that per se is fine, I'd have to re-license that file under the Apache 2.0 license.
The re-licensing may be legally fine. But as re-licensing triggers my "here be dragons" alert, I figured that I do not want to carry the legal burden of it.

It is worth noting that currently we have taken the stance that if a file already has some licence on it we have tagged the file with that licence as opposed to apache. This may cause problems down the line preventing us from having one unified licence for the entire repo but for now we are trying to at least get the unlicensed work licenced and can punt some of the relicensing to a later date.

That was mid June 2022. Back then, my request got a ticket number (42253) and then silence ever since.
