Interesting ticket. Mobile views have already been included in the public datasets and API for a while now, so the task seems outdated in that respect. The ask for unique views was included in the vote based on the claim that "any hobby site is able to do this", but this usually requires setting a session cookie for every reader. Is WMDE going to implement such a cookie?

@Tbayer yes some aspects of this ticket have already been covered, e.g. by the Community-Tech team. However, we still need to find out if the de-wiki community considers the wish to be fulfilled and will plan the next steps accordingly.
