On Nov 29, we deployed "add an image" to Arabic, Czech, and Bengali Wikipedias. During February 2022, we will be deploying to Spanish Wikipedia (T301276).
Though our early data shows low usage, our leading indicators do not show problematically high revert rates. We also have not heard complaints from communities about the feature.
Therefore, we are ready to deploy the feature to more Wikipedias. This will generate data and community reactions faster to facilitate our learning.
Any wiki is eligible for the next round, as we will benefit from a new API that virtually cover all languages.
