Why are we doing this?
This epic is concerned with presenting search results in a way that provides meaningful information to users, and useful ways to modify/refine those search results as a V1 for the Depicts release.

What is the ultimate goal/vision for this?
To enable effective search for users, so they can find media they are looking for quickly and easily. See parent ticket: T213358
What is the short term goal/need for this work chunk?
To provide a way for users to filter their results by media type as part of their search query.
What don’t we want to do
The following features are out of scope, and may be incorporated into the Other Statements release, or a subsequent update.
- Tabbed results by media type with counts next to each type
- Filtering beyond media file type
- Filtering with SDC properties
- Sorting results
- Layout of results
- Pagination changes
