Sorry, I forgot to update you. So, what I meant is: having the video thumb on right, you can edit the HTML code and move the thumbnail to left. When you do it, the video moved exactly in the space right above the image. However, text isn't affected by this shift. I really can't understand what can cause this problem, but I think it might be caused by the videopayload="<div class="mediaContainer" [...] part, since this issue happens only when a video is involved.

@Aklapper Something interesting I've found: if you edit the HTML and change the class in the video's div from thumb tright to thumb tleft, the video moves to the left, but the image doesn't move at all. It looks like there's something that prevents the image to take that spot.
HTML code looks fine, indeed. I thought this might be a Chromium bug, but even with using Firefox i have the same issue.

I can confirm the issue is not present with the current version of MediaWiki software on itwiki.

But what is the point in having that number displayed like that if it's not a limit but a suggestion? Moreover, there is nothing that tells the user that is a suggestion, and when the user uses more than 90 characters che field turns red.

On itwiki both Watchlist and RC shows page categorization correctly.

On itwiki this issue affects the Special:RecentChanges page too (direct link).

@Deskana after restoring Safari, the issue is apparently solved. I asked the user to take note of every edit in the settings he makes and tell me if he sees that something causes the issue.
I asked the user if he can reset Safari to default preferences and try to edit
I forgot to mention that he has the issue even when he tries to edit without logging in.

I can only reproduce the error if the URL contains something "extra". I cannot reproduce it in https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mookie_Betts but I can reproduce it in https://it.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mookie_Betts&oldid=88755040

I don't know if this helps, but I've noticed that the red links in itwiki are red because the link has a class="new" that makes it red

On itwiki the issue is (apparently) solved.

I have this problem too on itwiki. But I've found out that if I untick "Expand watchlist to show all changes, not just the most recent" and/or "Group changes by page in recent changes and watchlist" in the Preferences the page loads correctly.

I've noticed something else: (using Chrome) if I click "Edit source" tab when I'm reading a page I get the 2010 WikiEditor, but if I click "Edito source" from any other tab (History or checking a Diff) I always get the 2017 WikiEditor.

Yeah, I've tried waiting using Chrome (like 10 minutes) but the new 2017 WikiEditor never loaded, I've always got the 2010 editor.
I forgot to mention that I have this problem only in ns0, apparently.
Using Chrome 55.0.2883.87 m, I never get to use the 2017 wikitext editor when I click on the "Edit wikitext" tab. I always have to click the "Edit wikitext" tab, wait for the 2010 wikitext editor to load, then click again on the "Edit wikitext" tab and I can finally use the 2017 WikiEditor. I've made a few try using Firefox 49.0.2 and I've always got the 2017 WikiEditor.

A user told me he had done a copy-paste from a page in VE edit mode to another one in VE edit mode. Unfortunately, his edit was done on June, 21st, so the system has been updated on itwiki and I can't reproduce the issue.
I asked some of the users in itwiki if they remember how they have done the edits that added the <h2> tag. If the answer me with useful infos, I report them.

Me, again. So, apparently the issue is still happening. As you can see in this edit VE has added new text, but there's no space between the text and the "=" sign. Instead, the space is at the end of the text, after "2014" and "[[Florida|FL]]".

Understood. I'll let you know tomorrow if it has been fixed correctly.
Yes, I still have this issue. For example, here I can't delete alias "titolo" from parameter "titoloitaliano".
