Hello. Could you please consider delaying the activation of this feature if by April 7 the interface is still not translated into a state the extension would actually help newcommers? At this moment shy of half the extension is still untranslated (57% translated) thus many messages would still be displayed in English in a non-English wiki. Not many of us are active on translatewiki.net either, and we're also on hollydays. Thank you. Regards.

Using this invalid tasks to test something. I'll revert in a second.

Not a software bug. It was a vandalism originating from Wikidata that has since been reverted.

Just to mention that global rename seems to be usable again since a couple of days ago. I'm not sure if this is related to the task @Daimona (auto)linked above but this incident looks resolved. @Ladsgroup, feel free to close if you agree.
Unnasigning from myself as I am no longer active in MediaWiki development.
Closing as resolved as this Task referred to the specific talk page that was fixed.
Fatal exception when visiting https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discussion_utilisateur:Pierre_Andr%C3%A9_Leclercq
Hello @Pierre_Andre_Leclercq. Welcome to Phabricator. Unfortunatelly your report is missing some information such as where (which site) this bug is happening, which makes the investigation a bit difficult. Could you please inform us where did you see this happening? See also https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug/fr for further guidance. Best regards.

I did not quickly find documentation for PagePreparation which we could link to.

Closing as resolved as the issue with not being able to update the stats was resolved some time ago. The issue about the regular update of the site stats is tracked at T272549: [Recurring task] Update Wikimedia portal view statistics.
Self-declining due to inactivity.
So it looks like the original message found at https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Phabricator:phabricator-drydock-2eef34a08962e0de/en is no longer operative.

Hello. I am sorry but I am unable to help in this case. I resigned all my developer accesses and +2 rights in October 2020. That included my owner access to the Wikimedia GitHub org. Apologies for the inconvenience.

So this is the actual issue which you wish to address? But magic words can change translations too. If a wiki wants to lock a category name to avoid problems, they only have to create the message locally.
FWIW the strings to translate are in the Task description. In case it's not clear for translators, these are the strings to translate: Gadgets, GadgetUsage, Gadget, Gadget_talk, Gadget_definition and Gadget_definition_talk.

Not sure where the bug -if any- is: CentralAuth or core; so tagging both.

Shall we tag with MediaWiki-Action-API as well?

I want to fix one problem with Abkhazian word "Амодул". Problem is in following, actually symbol "ь" (soft sign) is used with some letters in Abkhazian alphabet (but never with letter "Л"), but there is some exceptions with florigen words and the word "module" (Russian Модуль) according Russian-Abkhazian vocabulary "Амодуль" is correct, but not "Амодул".
Can you change the word "Амодул" into "Амодуль"?
Sorry for inconvenience!

Resolved by itself, although it took its time.
Thank you again for you consideration and for making an exception for this. I appreciate your work.

Is partially reverting 7fff9280afee an option (or adding a "hack" somehow) so Special:Contributions use the old message until RelEng is fully back in January? I'm no expert though.

There's indeed a wmf-supportsafety local group on Meta Wiki (local page) that is assigned to all T&S employees. Regards.

I did it anyway before seeing your message (diff) and linked to T269781#6693399 in the summary so it should be enough proof. The form was non-functioning anyway so this removes lack of certitude.
@Urbanecm I have an account on foundationwiki so I can do it myself if no one else beats me to do it.

From a quick look it appears that translatewiki is pushing regularly the updates (e.g. https://github.com/lingua-libre/RecordWizard/commits/master is being regularly updated with translations). So my guess is that #lingua_libre sysadmins need to sync./deploy those updates to the server.
I can reproduce this bug on the Beta Cluster.
