[Epic] Account creation: GLAM event materials
Open, HighPublic

Description

In this task, we will implement a longstanding idea in preparation for an upcoming GLAM events in Latin America. The events want to focus on image suggestions related to Argentina. We want to add a topic selection specific for this event which will surface a specific hard-coded list of articles in the suggested edits feed. We also want this topic to only be available to users who created their accounts for this event.

We'll also use these tasks to make the custom landing pages for the events.

The events are happening on:

  • March 7 (test event, Argentina)
  • March 18 (Argentina)
  • April 1 (Mexico)
  • April 20 (Chile)

@MMiller_WMF: Hi, the Due Date set for this open task passed a while ago.
Could you please either update or reset the Due Date (by clicking Edit Task), or set the status of this task to resolved in case this task is done? Thanks!

@KStoller-WMF @MShilova_WMF should we close this epic and maybe open a new one for the AND/OR topic selection tasks that are open here?

@kostajh , do you think we'll have to file new tasks for the AND/OR topic selection in addition to the two we still have to tackle? If not, I suggest leaving it as is.

OK, let's leave it as is, then.
