It’s also possible to read the file in reverse, using tac (which uses a bunch of seeks under the hood). For example, I used this successfully to get the submission, start and end time of a recently terminated job:

Thanks for this suggestion! I personally can not tell how complex this would be to implement. With Cirdan on vacation, could you, @RazShuty, help in giving us an idea whether this would be a small or large addition/ alteration to the existing code? (Not asking you to do it, just asking you to get an idea of how much work it would be, if you can estimate it. :))
@zeljkofilipin yup, I think moving the portals deploy 30 minutes earlier would be good.
Yes, it was removed when introducing the toolbar, but we can easily add it again.
Where would you like it to be shown?

1150 days was used in the last run, so needs to be updated. We want to get reasonably close to 456 days before enabling cron jobs. We could target for 800 days which is approximately halfway between 1150 and 456 days. Then we could do one more run to bring it down to 456 and have the cron job keep it at that.
From what I've read, I think it's possible to add the tags to only one page, despite what it says in the mail. It's possible that this is a non-technical requirement and that Google objects to this for some reason. Note that one tag loads serialized Javascript code equivalent to ~4000 line, so you can't tell what this actually does.
Hi Cyde - I filed the bug over on the Mozilla side. Updating Firefox's HSTS preload list once per release cycle was never the plan - I'm not sure where that info came from. It's supposed to be updated twice weekly, but a recent infrastructure migration broke the task.

I will write regression tests for this later today.

I came across another use case where omitting <link/> could be desirable. English Wikipedia has style .navbox+.navbox{margin-top:-1px} that merges borders for adjacent boxes {{navbox}}{{navbox}}. Using <templatestyles/> at the top of this template, before <div class="navbox">...</div> that the content is enclosed in, however ensures that given style is not applied since <link/> sits between the boxes.
Closing this per the above. The extension is supposed to block comments and we shouldn't need to work around that.
(As noted in code review, this request is currently invalid.)
