I am attaching our wishlist for types to include. The list should be seen as starting point for discussion. Obviously time is scarce and probably of most limiting factor. We are happy if anything at all gets included this year.

We would like to widen the scope dramatically. All objects in FMIS (and BBR!) should be valid for the competition. The lists that we have should be considered as a guide for the competitors to find easy objects to take photos of. We will soon supply a wishlist for new types to include in the lists, and depending on how much time it would take to include them, we will see what can be prioritized for this year.

For tracking purposes: a while ago I created a Wikipedia template on svwiki that uses the tool.

As a first upload, it could also be very cool to make it the puzzleglobe, already available in STL.
If you need files for testing, there are some in Category:360 panoramics videos.

That seems strange. There are supposedly 145 237 ancient monument items in the WLM database for Sweden so the number without images should be less than that.
The alternative approach is a good shortcut, because the list I provided above was the criteria for inclusion into the WLM database. So matching those two seems to be to be a good approach of creating the list.

@Carwash: We are only intersted in a small subset of everything in FMIS. The selection is (according to this discussion):

A couple of HDMI cables for the new screens will probably come in handy too.
I made an update of the landing page.

Our web editors have delegated the task of rewriting on our blog to me, so I will publish it on k-blogg after it has been published on the WMSE blog.
I like all the examples @Lokal_Profil added. Perhaps this aerial photo of Älvsborg is even better than Eketorps borg since it already has been added to an article by the community.

Here is a list with all on level two without children. Combined with the previous level three list it is complete.
Another idea, that might be a bit more work. 16001000531388 -- other_version is getting the template {{Fornminne|10097601050001}} added and I notice that Category:Visby ringmur already have the template too, with the same id. Would it make sense to look at all categories that have the template and see if the id match our uploads and if so, add the category to the image?
Question: for 16001000531388 -- other_version, will we add "| other versions =" on the existing images too (with our upload in it) or is that too hard to do? If it is, could we produce a list of all uploads using other version so it could be added manually?

Another thought: In the preview object 16001000010979 -- BBR_b there are links in KMB to Wikipedia articles. Could they be used somehow?
Question: In "Originalbeskrivning", is it possible to list the categories in the same order as they appear in KMB? In KMB you can see the hierarchy and understand the "tree" but in Originalbeskrivning they are all mixed up (possibly in alphabetical order instead).
It was the best I could find. If you are unsure it is good enough, feel free to remap or remove.
Här är kategorierna på lägsta nivå i KMB.

And now the last three too.
The first 15 have been corrected now.
It would be nice to get support in popular 3d-printing software (that already handles STL files) with an option to "Publish to Wikimedia Commons" directly from the software. Perhaps the open source project Cura would be interested in that?
KMB has been notified with the errors (and objects containing them). I'll report back when i get a progress update.

A programmer that want to use this, do they need to keep track of which wikis that has this enabled in order to request a language version that gives a usable answer or is it queryable through API (cross my fingers one do not need to make one query per project to get that infromation).
May 28 2017
When will ArticlePlaceholder roll out to all wikis so that this becomes useful? If that is not in anyones action plan, I would suggest reopening this ticket since it solves a very specific usecase.

Would it be good to add #naturskyddsområden too to keep it separate from an eventual future upload of #natura2000?

A possible nice example is a 16th century helmet from the Swedish Royal Armoury, they already have a high resolution 3d-model of it (and are preparing a STL-version), and the helmet has its own article where it will fit nicely.
Added keywords and categories with highest count. Numbers are approximate and are based on searching Kringla filtering on public domain and CC BY images from Riksantikvarieämbetet.

A few months ago we introduced storing datasets on Wikimedia Commons: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Map_Data, and its sibling https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Tabular_Data, also known as "Commons Datasets".
There are quite a few examples available already: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:AllPages?from=&to=&namespace=486
I think this would solve your use case.

No I cannot reproduce this any longer either, something seem to have fixed this and the issue can probably safely be closed.

Yes, that was the unfortunate conclusion, the high res images are not readily available in bulk right now.

Just a reminder that there is also the template {{Wmse-GemenskapensProjekt}} that could be used (perhaps only with a slightly change in wording).

On Commons but not on WD - all real parishes are done. What is left is those that are "parish free areas". Discussion is ongoing here: https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Faktafr%C3%A5gor#Djursholms_stad_.3D_socken.3F

Was the bad idea to enable VE in the main name space on meta or to start a discussion on a non-talk page?
Well, this page on meta is also a de facto discussion page, created by WMF staff in order to hold discussions. Surely a few pages in a namespace will not block the enabling of Visual Editor?
@Trizek-WMF : Alright, can we get it in the other namespaces (4 and 100)?

Yes, bundling is good. And perhaps exclude articles created by a bot-flagged user, because they are probably really creating articles en masse.

@Slaporte If I understand it correctly we need to make a local message at MediaWiki:Petition-form-privacy to do that. We'll get right to that as soon as the extension is enabled.
