@Liuxinyu970226 sorry, what do you mean? I don’t recall I talked about any
John... Also, do mean Lewis? I only find User:JohnLewis, not User:JohnLevis
got banned.

Let me ask the scholar here in Taiwan :)

I'm going to try to get this data integrated into https://tools.wmflabs.org/topviews somehow (maybe even the top 1000 pages), unless there's a possibility T154381 will get addressed soon? If I manage to get it to work, I'll do the same for 2017 and 2016.
Thank you @MusikAnimal for creating the tsv file. I have listed the [[ https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xMfNcMFJibJkLFEscpRxuFiNIdNZgeDaWJksY-2jASw/edit?usp=sharing
Chinese Wikipedia articles by the columns you indicated ]]. However, I am confused by the above quote. What is the typical anomalies that you suggest? I have highlight in yellow in the google spreadsheet for the links that receives the pageviews by mobile traffic under 20 %. Is that the only criteria that I should tick out? |

Yeah, I know. We tried a lot of different platforms but end up not in the
Phabricator.

Hi @Aklapper , thank you for providing the documentation of how to create a project. After I read this, I have the following questions:
How to create a project? I would like to create a project called "Wikimedia Taiwan"

I decided to make a slide instead of a video walk through. Here you go. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1hD60hubmqxj26zjPe5ce-FH5HOSDVpt1KyXkmkucPUQ/edit?usp=sharing

That is very useful information! Thank you for the guidance and tips, @Tbayer & @MusikAnimal ! I would like to record a live demo to show people how to use this tool in Chinese tomorrow. I will add the walk through video here when I finished the recording.

Hi Abit,
It seems right. I will check with our staff and confirm with you later.
It's weird that the first couple of time we use the CSV file keep shows
0.000 newly registers users. Would this be caused by wrongly operating the
magic button? I wonder.

Thanks you. I am forwarding this to Reke. The related post will be shown in facebook page https://www.facebook.com/WSOTK/ later this week.

@Shoichi Translation of comments sounds good. (By the way, what's the title of the tool? 'han3_ji7_tsoo1_kian3' sounds like a transliteration or abbreviation or something?)

Wow, so cool! I can see the outcome now! This is so nice, thank you for your intime fix, Ross, I will try this to a workshop of translation for 40 college students in about 9 hours. (I have a back up plan of using google spreadsheet if the counter doesn't work, which is rather bothersome. So I am really appreciated that you can fix this! ) Let's finger cross we can bring the excitement of collaborative writing to the new comers :D

Sorry for the confusion. I was trying to demonstrate how phabricator works in front of the community organizers in Taiwan during our [[ meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Taiwan/Community_Workshops/2016-1 | community workshop ]], I was originally trying to use test phabricator, however I mistakenly use the real one! This is just a test, so is it possible to delete this task, or it can only be archived? And also I can't find the link to test phabricator, can someone show me the link? Thank you.

Thank you, @JEumerus . I will ask on the irc channel of stewards right away.

Does this task https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T134484 suitable for this string?
May 5 2016
Thank you so much, @Mvolz . It seems to be broken for a few months, but I didn't know how should we report. It is really nice to have instant feedback on a long stuck issue. :D

I just discovered an experiment how 3-D models can be combined with Wikipedia articles : http://en.volupedia.org/wiki/Stegosaurus
Hi there, I want to bring a possible solution of this task from @Lucia Huang, a software engineer from Taiwan. What is her proposal please refer here for further details.

Sorry if I make you feel pressured, this really helps us to move forward. The volunteer engineering team has been working on this for about a year, and it is a crucial moment for us to connect the database into wikimedia projects. So your effort on this is really important! Thank you thank you and thank you!

Here are my thoughts for the agenda:
- Marketing strategy to align with Sustainable Development Goals of UN that combine global citizenship and ICT education.
- Internationalized and localized content of the outreach standard operation process / best practice showcase.

Just translated the copyediting case study of Adrianne Wadewitz into Chinese. See here.

Thank you for leaving the link here, I didn't aware of this until I found this task. In Taiwan we also have collaboration with Medical Translation Taskforce. This will be a very good reference for the translators in Taiwan. :)
Maybe there is another thing can be done with this task, add the pdf file to the book shelf? Maybe @AKoval_WMF can help this out?
That's OK, @FloorKoudijs, thank you. I have just made it to the closed (resolved) case successfully! :)

Editing PDF complete, please refer here. Now there is a Traditional Chinese file!
Follow the T115299 case, I am updating the translated text on outreach into the InDesign Files.
Is it any chance to have a venue anywhere near or at the same venue of the noble prize events, please? Hehe, that would be nice.

Localization complete, version 1.0, haha!
I am using adobe InDesign to edit the pdf file now, just documenting issues:
Well, not really. Everything I use is in Traditional Chinese actually. But I use Chinese because there is a mechanism on all translation extension that we need to translate the Chinese one then we can translate Traditional or Simplified Chinese. So I pick that language button to start. But if someone can help on translate the Simplified one, he can use the button after I complete the Chinese version.

Translation of text is completed, see https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Instructor_Basics_education_brochure/zh

Hello, I have also translated the case study template itself, wondering whether it is useful.
A bit confuse in the word "sub-articles" of the following sentence - "Don’t try to improve topics that are highly controversial, like global warming, abortion, or Scientology. Contentious topics often lead to fights on Wikipedia. Students should be encouraged to start sub-articles instead."

I will try to update about some cases in Taiwan. I will also try to encourage people in Asia to provide their story of courses in the East and South East Asia fellows and maybe South Asia fellows also.
