As emerged on this talk on frwiki, the link of Help pages for newcomers (Aide:Débuter) is hidden by default for logged out users. To improve discovery and access to help pages it should be useful to deplace this link in an other place.

Because there are no limitations for the group of wikis I've listed in T293470#8886045, in my opinion they should be added in this task, but I haven't included them yet waiting for confirmation.

Some wikis already have a header in the Main Page, without other elements at the right, so there are no limitations as described on the Language switching page. For this group of wikis with a header in the Main Page, the language switcher should be available at the top of the Main Page without a formal request by community.

Hi, Italian Wiktionary users asked for an updated logo, which has been done with the task T329168. However, actually, the logo is not complete, it is missing the translation of the payoff "the free dictionary": "Il dizionario libero".

Some personal considerations for more context:
Selecting the same content width (for exemple 680em) the behaviour of References (<references/> or {{Reflist}}) is exactly the same in both skins.
However, users are still adapting to the new width, someone don't appreciate the single wide column, the content widths of Vector and Vector 2022 on narrow screens seem similars and some users are expecting a two columns section as default.
The impression of a similar experience could be possible on Vector 2022 giving the content width by default splitted in two column (perhaps modifying the threshold for the switching?)
The impression of similarity between the two skins is greater with two columns, rather than strictly respecting and duplicate the width threshold.

The result is good enough for me.

Hi, the cropped text of "Edit interlanguage links" I noticed in T328069#8620884 is resolved for me on itwiki, frwiki and enwiki.
But now I'm experiencing that the link "Edit interlanguage links" ("Modifier les liens interlangues" on frwiki in the video) is displayed a few fractions of a second later then other links in the menu, at the same time of other elements of the page, when purging the cache or opening a new page.

Thank you @Jdlrobson for clarifying this point, I just see the partial change done today, but I was not informed to have to ask someone of the community to complete the procedure to make it effective. The entry "Edit interlanguage links" in the tools navigation is cut off at the front due to an invisible edit-icon.

Hi, perhaps it is due to technical time of refreshing cache but I notice this:

• fr.wikipedia: language button on the top of Home page has been deployed, but I can't see the Welcome messages (logged-in or logged out), I tried with different browser.
• awk.wikipedia: at the top I can see the language button and the word "Xadola" in the header instead of Welcome messages T325362#8647483, but when logged out with Chrome I can see only "Xadola", languages are still on the bottom of the Home page.

If this is something the frwiki community would like to experiment with we could enable it.

In other terms, this task is about the improvement of threshold for when a section is active when scrolling up.

@nray thank you for looking into this. Actually I can't reproduce it and I see the same thing you see, so I asked the user for a new feedback. However, if no technical changes have resolved this task meanwhile, T331109 may explain why both me and the user have had the impression of a mismatch.

@Aklapper that's a good point. As I have improved my performance on Phabricator and I'm opening tasks I will begin to differentiate the use of my two accounts.
