Thanks for the ping. I am familiar with some of the subtasks (I worked on T18691 quite a bit). Can you help me better understand the connection you are making here? Do you mean in terms of where the future "Share" button would be located?

@alexhollender_WMF Some of the tasks involve moving the tools in the sidebar to somewhere in the header, just like how User contributions would be moved from the sidebar to the header, so I wondered if such tasks would be in the scope of Desktop Improvements (Vector 2022) .

@Lectrician1 ok, I understand. The way I'm thinking about it is: the larger, structural change is moving the tools from the main menu into the article toolbar. Once they are in the toolbar, we can start discussions regarding which items should be directly exposed in the toolbar, versus which ones should be in the tools menu. In a perfect world this would be customizable since I imagine different editors have different preferences here.
