@Aklapper good point, I'm sorry I didn't clarify.
@mmodell I couldn't see the button to create a new project here: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/ But I can see it now!
Thanks for the help!

I would like to request addition to the #acl*Project-Admins group, to be able to manage the Milestones for Wiki-Loves-Monuments. Would that be possible? Thanks :)

I have been involved in organising various outreach activities for Wikimedia projects, include large projects such as conferences and campaigns. My previous experience can be seen at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:KCVelaga/Events_%26_outreach. I would like use Phabricator for my upcoming events/projects to coordinate tasks and the team. My next immediate project is https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Project/Rapid/KCVelaga/TWLCon_India_-_2019.

@Krishna_Chaitanya_Velaga : For the start, could you request a project by following https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Phabricator/Creating_and_renaming_projects , and if you need to create more projects more often in the future, can we hand this out to you? :)

@Aklapper Yes, I would need to create more tasks projects in future, for a range of outreach activities. I frequently organise activities, and I see dashboard as the best way to coordinate things between the team.

Hi. I would like to ask to be added to acl*Project-Admins because I need to frequently create new projects for CommTech projects and update herald rules for our projects. Not having to file a task every time I need a change would be great. :)

As an Engineering Manager I need to be able to admin projects for Community Tech to help manage our sprint boards.

I am the project manager for the Wikidocumentaries project and GLAM coordinator for WMFI and would like to be able to create subprojects and milestones.

I am an engineering manager for Core Platform Team, I'd like to get permission to create projects

I'm doing product management tasks for the Language-Team, and I was planning to create some sub-projects for ContentTranslation. I'd like to get permission to do so. Thanks!

Done. See @Aklapper's comment for helpful tips:

Hi, I'd like to be added to Project-Admins in to create sprint-projects for the Bengali-Sites and Wikidata.

Hi @Jony, I'm a bit wondering what's the best way here... maybe Bengali-Sites should be turned into a group instead of a tag, assuming that there are a few people who want to work on tasks and organize that work in sprints?

Hi @Aklapper would you update any status.

I need to create and manage the Inuka (formerly known as New Readers) team, projects, and milestones. Thanks!

@SBisson: Added you.

Thanks!

I maintain some applications for Wiki Loves Monuments in Italy and I think I'll create more tools soon, so I'd like to use phabricator to plan and develop them and I'd like to become a project creator. (https://github.com/ferdi2005/concorsi-locali this is an example)

This does not sound like a continuous need to create projects? In that case please follow https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Phabricator/Creating_and_renaming_projects and create a task to request project creation, with sufficient information. Thanks :)

I'd like to request access to create projects:
In the course of T159299: Deprecate $wgUser, I have come across a number of extensions that don't have projects, and resorted to tagging the tasks as MediaWiki-extensions-Other
But, this is counter to the goal of T213880: Cleaning up #Mediawiki-extensions-other, which involves creating project tags that are currently missing
Rather than tagging tasks as -other and then someone else needing to later go through and retag, I'd like to be able to create missing projects as I come across them
Thanks

Hi,

can you please add @Lena_WMDE to the acl*Project-Admins group? She's a new PM at WMDE and thus needs to create projects from time to time.

Thanks!

@Aklapper {{ping}} its been over a week since I posted my request - is there a standard time frame for this?

@DannyS712: No idea... A lot of people can perform this step; whenever someone finds time...

I would like to be added to the project-admins to evaluate the options available to contributing to wikiversity community.

@Querl.dox.0000x: Hi, that is quite vague and does not require any project-admins permissions. Feel free to use the test instance instead.

Hello, I would like to request this also. I want to help with creating projects when requested and etc.

Hello, I would like to request this also. I want to help with creating projects when requested and etc.

I support this request. Active, trusted user.

I would like the ability to create projects to evaluate the tools available in the wikimedia community (VPS/toolforge/etc) vs outside resources.

@Querl.dox.0000x: That is too vague. Please bring this up on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk:Phabricator/Help instead, and provide way more detail. Thanks.

@Aklapper, I would like the ability to create projects to help organize the work of my team (WMF Product Analytics) without needing to wait for help. Currently, no one on Product Analytics has this permission.

Here are projects I've requested in the past:

Additionally, here some other projects that were requested for what is now Product Analytics.

Correct! :) That's also linked from the Phabricator front page.

@Aklapper I am the PM for the Inuka team at WMF. I would like the ability to create projects to help organize the work of the team. Kindly assist.

I'm a new Program Manager for the Inuka and Language teams and will need to create projects/subprojects for them regularly, including Milestones. Thank you so much!

@Rileych: Hmm. Your Phabricator account is linked against a non-WMF SUL account so your statement is likely true but cannot be verified. :-/
Usually WMF OIT creates SUL accounts for new staff. Maybe this account was supposed to be used instead? (You could create a Developer/LDAP account, link it to your Phab account, then log out of Phab, use the LDAP account to log into Phab, then remove your non-WMF SUL account from your Phab account and add your WMF SUL account to your Phab account.)

My account has been updated to have a WMF account as SUL. Can I be given project creation rights now? Thank you!

@Rileych: Thanks! I have added you. (Usual default disclaimer: Please follow guidelines and project types, and if unsure please ask - thanks! :)

I'd like to request access to create projects as the new Program Manager for the Structured Data team, so that I can accommodate their requests for new tags, etc. Thank you!
