You have been added to the ACL @larissagaulia. And thanks for reading the fine documentation. :)

Hi, can I be added so I can create tags; working on managing some of the community tech events. I understand the guidelines from https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Phabricator/Creating_and_renaming_projects#Creating_new_projects

Thank you,

Hi There, I am a Sr. TPgM supporting the Growth-Team. I need to modify two Phab task templates:

  1. Template 1
  2. Template 2

In addition to that, I would like to get permission to create new Phab task templates (forms) in the future.

My colleague, @KStoller-WMF (Sr. Product Manager on Growth-Team) will need the same permissions as I requested above.

Hi! Content of those forms are included in URL parameters of the URl addreses you listed. Anyone can edit those, albeit it's fairly tricky to do so. The easiest way to generate those addresses with pre-filled tasks is via Phabulous. In that tool, you can specify the default description, task title and similar, and customize the forms to your liking.

When you're done, you need to replace the links whenever they are included (I think that's Growth-Team's menu, which can be edited here). I think both you and Kirsten should be able to edit the menu this way.

Hope this helps!

As an Engineering Manager I would need access as we won't have a Technical Program Manager as of next week.

Hi, I am Ipr1 (Ilkka Prusi) and work at Wikimedia Finland. I would like to get subproject creation right for project WMFI which is Wikimedia Finland's umbrella project in Phabricator.

@Ipr1: Done. Usual disclaimer: Please follow the guidelines (on project icon/color, naming, an understandable project description which allows anyone else to understand when (not) to use that project tag), and if unsure please ask - thanks a lot!

I was previously grant the rights in T156480 but I migrated to a different account. Could this account be added to the new group?

Many thanks in advance!

@Zoranzoki21, @nshahquinn-wmf: Hi, I have added you both. (Usual default disclaimer: Please follow guidelines and project types, and if unsure ask - thanks! :)

Hi @Aklapper! I just went to create a project and found I couldn't. It looks like you took the permission away from me in Oct 2020. Do you remember why? Could you add me back?

@nshahquinn-wmf: Hi, basically principle of least privilege - if privileges have not been used for a long while they get removed.
Do you need to create or edit projects regularly? If yes, happy to add you back! If not, you could request creation of a project.

Oh, I see. Fair enough. It took me 2.5 years to realize you had taken it away, so I can't reasonably claim to need it regularly 😆 I will just request instead.

Hi there, I'd like to request access to additional permissions because I will regularly be creating sprint boards (milestones) as well as edit/update the board columns for the Design Systems Team and Codex boards.

@Ladsgroup thank you! But I still don't seem to have permission to create new subprojects or edit/reorder columns 🤔

@CCiufo-WMF I've added you to Trusted-Contributors, try now.

That's working now, thank you!

Hi!
I have to take over some project management duties for toolforge/toolforge-build-service and as part of it I will have to create iteration subprojects here.
Can I get project creation superpowers please? :)

I have read, accept and understand the the guidelines for creating and renaming projects.

Thanks!

Done! I'd add the usual disclaimer here but looks like you already read through the instructions so that's not needed :P

Hi,
I'd like to request access to additional permissions because I will be creating new projects & boards for the new year. I'm the Product Manager for Inuka Team.

Hello! I would like to request access to additional permissions because I'm the Product Manager of the Growth-Team, and we are experimenting with moving towards a more regular sprint cadence, and so I'll need to create sprint boards (milestones). I've reviewed the Creating and renaming projects guidelines.

Kindly asking to have the following accounts of my WMDE colleagues added
@Deniz_WMDE @Fring @Andrew-WMDE @dang @Charlie_WMDE @AnnieKim_WMDE @Valerie_Wollinger_WMDE

They are all staff working on Wikibase Cloud initiative and from time to time need to create a project for different initiatives around their product.
Thank you.

sorry, I don't own the process, I just help in straightforward cases (one or two people in a team to unblock their work). I can't decide on mass addition of many users on my own (someone needs to decide would this violate principle of least privilege or not, and that's not me). If you're blocked, please mention one or two so I can unblock you (usually EMs/PMs)

could we please have @Deniz_WMDE and @Charlie_WMDE added. They act as board creators in the team currently. Thank you

Hey Jack, I've added you as a project admin—you should have permission to create projects here in Phabricator. Please remember to follow the icon and color scheme, that subprojects and milestones exist, and that Phabricator is a public place: Project descriptions should never be empty but have a link to more information and point to a code repository location when applicable.

Reach out if you have questions, I'm @thcipriani in all the places.

I request permissions to create milestones so that I can take over creating quarter milestones for the Language-Team project.

Hi, could you please add @Lina_Farid_WMDE to the group? She's WMDE TechWish's new product manager and needs to maintain the relevant projects. Thanks a lot!
