[EPIC] Migrate MobileFrontend's code to Vue.js/WVUI
Open, MediumPublic

Description

The MobileFrontend codebase is not well understood even by its maintainers. Following on the work from the mobilefrontend investment project we should aim to gradually port the code inside MobileFrontend to Vue.js and eventually the WVUI library.

I suggest this work begins by making use of the search widget built for the Desktop Improvements (Vector 2022) project and removing the existing SearchOverlay.

This is a placeholder, and an epic, so we should look to pull out subtasks as and when we have time to schedule this work.
