I would like to participate as a mentor for outreachy (if I am not too late). Together with @Isaac we have a project in mind about building a tool to analyze and visualize how readers navigate on Wikipedia using the publicly available clickstream data-dump, and hosting it with a simple interface on toolforge. The tool will allow people without extensive technical background to easily explore and better understand data about navigation patterns on wikipedia. We expect this to be valuable given the huge interest in tools about readership on Wikipedia such the pageviews-tool.

As you are coming with a non-technical background, we would need someone with technical skills willing to collaborate with you on this idea and mentor a candidate via GSoC. @Aklapper so in general I agree that something like the game view (chess) would be better as an extension; however it is at a cost of innovation. The barrier to entry to getting a production extensions (esp on a WMF property) is significantly higher - leading to what could be an improvement for many content consumers to simply never happen.

It was also raised in 2 prio sessions that we probably don't want to do this until the migration path / compat layer has been created by the vue core team.

It seems to be a common issue with proxies. I made a workaround where you can specify the server prefix as an explicit flag (commit https://github.com/stts-se/pronlex/tree/2683ba61471068c65f7e810cc9031931b39f53fe)
Tested and working for a standalone lexserver behind Apache proxy.

I used this today! It was glorious! Less work for me (no need to manually make sure I've added all languages) and this week the Portuguese translation (pt-br) was actually delivered, after languishing on Meta for years.
